This is to confirm that the above Company worked together with us on a fuel storage compound in Koniambo, New Caledonia, 2012.
They assisted us in fault finding and re-instating a failed diesel storage facility.

The work involved, included an under tank “Leak Detection System”. The compound and bund areas were completely lined in HDPE to meet our specifications.

This letter of recommendation is for GR Environmental who are, and have been installing GSE range of HDPE & LDPE manufactured geomembranes; previously Gundle & SLT, in excess of 10 years.
GR Environmental is an experienced geomembrane installer and to our recollection, follow installation procedures as per GSE’s installation QA Manual. We to date are not aware of any failures or major reworks for installation works carried out by GR Environmental.

Tonkin & Taylor Ltd has been responsible for the design and construction quality assurance for liner installation at Whitford Landfill since 2001, for Cells 8 (a, b & c), 9 (a & b) and 10 (a & b). GR Environmental Services Ltd has been responsible for the HDPE geomembrane installation through all of these stages of landfill cell construction, with construction work being undertaken each year since 2001. The total liner area installed through these three stages was in excess of 9 ha.
The geomembrane was installed in accordance with the Tonkin & Taylor Ltd Specification, with material to GRI GM13 and testing to GRI GM 6, GM14 and GM19. GR Environmental Services Ltd met the requirements of the specification and demonstrated good knowledge of the product and liner installation practices to achieve a quality installed liner.

GR Environmental Linging Services Ltd duties on site during this time have included:
- The laying of 1.5mm double sided textured Flexible Membrane Liner
- Welding of the Flexible Membrane Liner
- Welding/joining to previously laid Flexible Membrane Liner.
- Repairing damaged Flexible Membrane Liner by way of patches and extrusion welds.
- Advice on clay liner preparation prior to the laying of Flexible Membrane Liner.
All work was carried out to GM13 standards, and was independently checked by Tonkin and Taylor Ltd, Environmental and Engineering Consultants, who also ensured all work was passed by Quality Control and Assurance.

Hikurangi Forest Farms Ltd – Gisborne
Hi, my name is Warren Payne and I am a Forest Operations Coordinator with Hikurangi Forest Farms Ltd a Forestry Company in Gisborne New Zealand.
Over the last Fifteen years I have installed many Lined Fire Water Reservoirs within our Forest Estate. In 1998 GR Environmental Lining Services supplied and installed onsite our first HDPE Lined Fire Water Reservoir. Previous to this we had used Butanol Rubber and other products that were manufactured in a factory then transported onsite and installed. These were cumbersome labour intensive and generally not that great.
GR Environmental Lining Services were a revelation and in the past 11 years we have gone on to install 20 Lined Fire Water Reservoirs holding on average one Million liters each. At times they are asked to work in challenging situations where access and the weather has not been that great. They are prompt, helpful and deliver a good service and product.
I would recommend Graham and his team along with their product for any lining requirements.
